New Life Fellowship has been blessed with a landmark building in the center of Queens. We desire to be good stewards of the resources that God has given us so we invite you to be part of our team. Here are some ways that you can serve.
Work Crew
Do you have a team of people that wants to donate their time and skills to aid in the renovation process? Contact Dave Duplessie (dave@newlifefellowship.org) to see if it will be possible to serve in this way.
Hospitality
When we have work crews visiting from out of town you can server them by setting up and cleaning our kitchenette and preparing and cleaning the rooms where they will stay. You can also entertain workers for a single meal and rub shoulders with those who have come to serve us.
Labor Volunteers
We have a need for people to do tasks such as:
- Cleaning and organizing spaces
- Demolition
- Rubbish Removal
We also need laborers who have specific skills such as:
- Skim coating walls that are cracked
- Putting up studs and building walls
- Electrical skills (wire repairs, installing outlets and lights etc…)
- Painters
- Plumbers (repairing water pipes, waste pipes, steam heating pipes & radiator valves & bathrooms)
- Mason skills (repair masonry, including re-pointing parts of the building)
- Strip, Wax & Buff Floors
- Sheet rocking
